Family and Consumer Science

I was born in Provo, Utah. I graduated from Provo High and then attended Brigham Young University where I completed my BS in Home Economics Education, now known as Family and Consumer Science Education. I have been  married for thirty-four years.  After graduation from BYU,  I started teaching at Preston High School, in Preston Idaho.  I attended Utah State University while I was teaching in Idaho.  After my first child was born, I decided to focus on raising her and the other children that followed.  I came back to teaching and have taught at Rocky Mountain Junior High and Sand Ridge Junior High in the Weber School District. I took several classes from Southern Utah University to learn how to teach English Language Learners.  My family has lived in Northern Utah for the past twenty-six years and we love it!  My husband and I own a business, Marble Ventures, Inc., and I enjoy working with him.  I also love sewing, cooking, traveling, reading, movies, and spending time with my family. This is my first year at Weber Innovation High School.  I am so excited to be a part of a dynamic team of educators at Weber Innovation High School.
