Brian Fendrick

English

Born illiterate, Brian Fendrick eventually overcame this challenge and became a high school English teacher who enjoys writing about himself in third person. After originally graduating with a degree in psychology, Brian worked as a journalist for six years, which led up to his interviewing a man who had been inspired by a cheesy motivational poster to drastically change his career at the age of 67. The poster had said, “What would you do if you knew you could not fail?” Brian promptly returned to school for a second degree and became a high school English teacher. He then read way too much dystopian literature, eventually completing a master’s degree some such things. Brian taught AP English classes at Fremont High School for ten years before deciding to mix it up a bit by moving on over to Weber Innovation High. In addition to tricycling, splash-padding, and park-exploring, his hobbies when he’s not with his three- and six-year-old daughters include writing, reading, running, and playing video games with friends until unhealthy hours of the night.
