CIM, IED and Physics
My Dad was in the Air Force, so I moved all over when I was younger. I was born in Germany, and have lived in Virginia, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, California, Argentina and Utah. I consider Utah home because most of my family lives here and I graduated from High School in Milford, UT. My graduating class had 32 students in it! I have lived in Davis and Weber Counties since 2004. I currently live in Farmington with my wife and our 8 children, ages 8-18.
I am a machinist by trade, and I have an Associate’s Degree from UVSC in Machine Tool Technology. I have worked at 2 different machine shops for a total of 7 years. After graduating from BYU with a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Teacher Education, I taught Project Lead the Way at Two Rivers High School from 2004-2007. For the last 9 years, I have taught Engineering, Machining and Robotics at Ogden High and the Ogden Weber Tech College.
I love teaching High school and I am especially excited to teach CIM, IED and Physics at the Weber Innovation Center. I enjoy the subjects I teach, and I love to share my passion for engineering and manufacturing with my students. I enjoy creating models in CAD and machining parts for my bikes.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and exploring the mountains around my home on my mountain bike.
