Physics

I was born in Provo, Utah but grew up mainly in Murray, Utah. My dad was a helicopter pilot for the Army so we moved to areas back east a few times. I graduated from Murray High. Later I moved up to Ogden to attend Weber State where I received my Bachelor’s Degree. A few years later I received my Master’s Degree from Mississippi State University. I was hired to teach math and science at Rocky Mountain Jr. High in 2003. A few years later I was asked to teach Physics in the mornings at Project Lead the Way. I still teach at both schools. I’ve taught 7th and 8th Grade Math, 8th Grade Integrated Science, Earth Systems, and Physics. While I’ve enjoyed all of the subjects I’ve taught, Physics is my favorite. I’m active in the outdoors, mainly rock climbing and trail running. I’ve completed three 100 mile races, one 100 kilometer race, one 50 mile race and three marathons. All of these races have been on mountain trails.
