Kristi Hancock

Counselor

Although originally from Utah, I spent several years in Italy while pursuing my education, traveling, and getting my first taste of working in the school system before returning to Utah and becoming a school counselor.  I also spent time living in Spokane, Washington and working as a counselor at a residential treatment center for youth ages 12-18.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College, a Master of Science Degree in Psychology with a license in School Counseling from Utah State University, a  Master’s of Education from Southern Utah University, and an and an Administrative License.

I am very active and love doing anything that makes me push myself!  I especially love to be outside running, hiking, snowboarding, paddleboarding, climbing, doing yoga, and most importantly playing with my kids. I have two boys who keep me very busy! I love cooking, traveling (especially to tropical locations), learning new things, spending time with family and friends,  laughing, and reading.

I have experience working in several elementary schools, a junior high school, Weber Online High School, and now I am lucky to be at the Weber Innovation Center.  I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of creating this new learning environment for students in Weber School District. Flexibility, personalization, innovation, acceleration.  Welcome to the Weber Innovation Center.  I look forward to getting to know each of you as you prepare for your careers!
